Bethesda Community Groups are a committed group of God’s people, who are connected to the local church, who seek to carry out God’s purposes of community and mission by God’s power, and who are motivated by God’s gospel. While our Worship Gathering, Life Groups, and Bethesda Institute are places for training and equipping the saints for the work of the ministry (air war,) our Community Groups are places for community and mission where the saints do the work of the ministry (ground war.) The Community Groups seek to answer the question “What does it look like to be a genuine community of gospel-centered people who are on mission, seek to love the city, and be satisfied with Jesus Christ alone?” A few more questions they seek to answer is “What does it look like for us to follow Jesus together in central Indiana?” and “What does it look like to be missionaries to central Indiana?” For more information about Community Groups, please email the Deacon of Community Groups, Nathan Johns (firstname.lastname@example.org.)
Bethesda Institute, our educational evening, is designed for people of all ages who want to learn the truths about God, His message, and how it affects every aspect of life and relationships. Each quarter is six – seven weeks in length. Many different courses are offered. Courses are held on Sunday evenings, from 6:00-7:30 pm. All ages are welcome, and childcare is provided.
Have you been coming for a while and believe that Bethesda is a community of believers you want to be involved in? Begin the process of membership. This class occurs periodically through the year.
