Community Groups

View More:

Bethesda Community Groups are a committed group of God’s people, who are connected to the local church, who seek to carry out God’s purposes of community and mission by God’s power, and who are motivated by God’s gospel. While our Worship Gathering, Life Groups and Bethesda Institute are places for training and equipping the saints for the work of the ministry (air war,) our Community Groups are places for community and mission where the saints do the work of the ministry (ground war.) The Community Groups seek to answer the question “What does it look like to be a genuine community of gospel-centered people who are on mission, seek to love the city, and be satisfied with Jesus Christ alone?” A few more questions they seek to answer is “What does it look like for us to follow Jesus together in central Indiana?” and “What does it look like to be missionaries to central Indiana?” For more information about Community Groups, please email the Deacon of Community Groups, Nathan Johns (
