Bethesda Worship Ministry
We welcome you to take a look at what is happening in the Worship
Ministry here at Bethesda. We exist to worship God corporately and
privately with all that we are (mind, emotions, will, and body), for
all that He is, says, and does.
How do I get involved?
Whether you are musically trained, untrained, or can't carry a tune in a bucket, there can be an area of service for you! You can serve in vocal or instrumental music, drama, or media ministry. Email >> or call Connie Keever (Worship Ministry Secretary) at 317-852-3101.
Worship Leading Choir
The choir is made up of anyone interested in using their gift of singing, or anyone just interested in being part of the lead-worship team on Sunday mornings. No audition is required and no level of experience is expected. Our choir helps lead worship during Sunday morning services 10 months out of the year by singing joyfully unto the Lord during both congregational worship and times of special music. The choir is one of the foundational pieces of our Worship Ministry and is required for any singer desiring an extended role in the Worship Ministry.
Orchestra
Like the choir, the orchestra is the place where any instrumentalist will find his home. The orchestra plays for our Sunday morning worship services and many special events throughout the year. Some instrument experience is helpful, but no audition is needed.
Praise Team
The Praise Team at Bethesda consists of both a group of singers and a band. This team is selected from current faithful members of both the choir and orchestra who demonstrate the gifts and skills needed to be a part of this group. The Praise Team plays some role in almost every service at Bethesda.
Media Ministry
If you love technology and you like the use of media during worship, then this ministry is for you. The Media Ministry at Bethesda has many areas of service which include sound engineer, live projectionist (computer), camera operator, and lighting operator. No experience is required in any of these areas, but some technical and computer skills could prove to be helpful. We are happy to train and teach any willing person who has a desire to learn.
